Ne glede na to, da je za vegetarijance izbira omejena, je v ve\u010djih trgovinah mo\u010d dobiti tofu, seitan in ostale izdelke. Malo ve\u010dja te\u017eava se pojavi, ko obi\u0161\u010de\u0161 restavracijo, \u010de ta ni vegetarijanska. Restavracija, kjer stre\u017eejo tipi\u010dno hrano za sever Portugalske, ti bo kot vegetarijansko jed najverjetneje ponudil omleto (zgodilo se mi je dvakrat), natakar pa se bo verjetno \u0161e nasmejal malce na tvoj ra\u010dun :). Od Portugalcev sem sli\u0161ala, da mora\u0161, ko obi\u0161\u010de\u0161 Portugalsko nujno poskusiti \u00bbfrancesinho\u00ab, ki je toast z ve\u010d razli\u010dnih vrst mesa v omaki, na vrhu pa je jajce. K sre\u010di obstaja tudi vegetarijanska razli\u010dica z zelenjavo, ki pa je prav tako nasitna. Predvsem so znane \u00bbpastel de natas\u00ab, \u00bbtarte de natas\u00ab, \u00bbbolo de berlim\u00ab in \u00bbovos moles\u00ab. Prvih treh se nisem mogla prenajesti, medtem pa slednja ni bila preve\u010d po mojem okusu, saj je bil to rumenjak zme\u0161an s sladkorjem v ovoju, ki je bil kot hostija. Prva asociacija je bila salmonela :).<br \/>\n\u0160tudentje na UTAD v Vila Real jedo predvsem v menzah, ena je na kampusu, najdejo pa se tudi v mestu.
