Bordojska topla pomlad in mrzli Edinburg

The Crewsers

Attend the 2012-2013 Erasmus Intensive Language Course of Slovene (EILC) at the University of Nova Gorica!

If you are a future Erasmus student or a Comenius/Gruntvig assistant and intend to spend your Erasmus mobility period in Slovenia in the 2012-2013 academic year, the University of Nova Gorica offers you the possibility to attend an Erasmus Intensive Language Course of Slovene (EILC) in Nova Gorica.

The 60-hour beginners’ EILC course will take place 3rd – 21st September 2012.

EILC courses give the participants the opportunity to study the language of the host country with the aim of being prepared for the mobility period abroad. Erasmus students/Comenius and gruntvig assistants are not charged to attend the course. Click HERE for more information about EILC courses in general, funding etc.

Why choose the University of Nova Gorica for attending an EILC course?

Nova Gorica, a lively young university town located on the Slovene-Italian border is a great place to stay as well as a superb location for planning trips to various popular destinations – the Adriatic coast, the Alps, Venice, etc. The University of Nova Gorica devotes special attention to its EILC students and will organise extra trips and other activities so that you will be able to fully experience our language and culture. And a tip for those who are planning to spend their Erasmus mobility period at a university other than the University of Nova Gorica: it is a great idea to attend an EILC course at a place other than your Erasmus destination – this means seeing more of Slovenia, experience student-life at two universities and meeting more new friends. And this attractive sub-mediterranean part of Slovenia where Nova Gorica lies is perfect for starting your stay in Slovenia.

For more information about the EILC course at the University of Nova Gorica, its structure, extra activities organised, and the town of Nova Gorica please click HERE.

How do I apply to attend the EILC cours at the University of Nova Gorica?

Download the respective application form THIS LINK.

Fill it out and send it to your Erasmus coordinator at your (home) university. The coordinator at your home university will, together with his/her signature, forward your application to the EILC organising institution of your choice.

For more information about the appliation procedure contact the Erasmus coordinator at your home university, EILC coordinator at the University of Nova Gorica (veronika.piccinini@ung.si) or your National Agency.
We look forward to meeting you in Nova Gorica!

Veronika Piccinini, EILC coordinator, University of Nova Gorica
